Meet

Beth Ann

LCSW

I am Beth Ann Mergens, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a wife, and mother to five amazing children. Over the last 15 years I have navigated the ups and downs that come with raising kids a variety of ages, the tension of both releasing and nurturing a professional life, and living intentionally in marriage and multiple pregnancy losses.

In 2023 I met everyone from VOTHC. I quickly connected with the purpose and mission here, and through that God planted a vision for our family to relocate from Denver to Nashville. I love the way that the world is full of story if we look for it. There is meaning and connection in your own personal story, and I can help you see it from a healing lens; help you see the broken fragments with understanding and hope.

I have spent much of my career focusing on helping people through trauma recovery – adults and children, large traumas and little ones. I have my Master’s Degree from the University of Denver, am EMDR certified (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and hold an LCSW in Tennessee and Colorado. It is incredibly important to me that my clients feel seen, known, and understood.

I am a contributing writer to magazines for mothers, and enjoy speaking on the power of personal healing amidst motherhood.

I regularly see men, women, and couples who:

  • Identify parts of their heart that cause them pain or difficulty and want to explore deeper healing.

  • Experience current difficulty from past trauma.

  • Are grieving the loss of someone, something, or a season of life.

  • Need help navigating relationship challenges.

  • Long to heal their own broken places in order to better steward their role as a parent.

Groups I serve regularly:

  • Women and men who are leaders in their home, in their work, and/or in their community.

  • Young adult women

  • Homeschooling Moms

  • Anyone who wants to move closer to their own heart and the Spirit of God for their legacy + the Kingdom.
