At the VOTH Center, we believe our stories shape who we are and how we move through life. Here is a bit of our story:

Our center opened in January 2024 when I, with the encouragement and direction of Chip Dodd, took a leap of faith to create a space for a counseling and community outreach center grounded in the Spiritual Roots System, teamwork, and the latest therapy techniques.

A few years ago, I became disillusioned by the isolation of being a solo counselor and I imagined a group practice where therapists could collaborate and support each other for better client outcomes. At the time, I lacked the personal and professional readiness to pursue this calling.

In 2018, I began working with Chip Dodd and Phil Herndon at the Center of Professional Excellence, a treatment center for professional men. After learning the basics of Chip’s model, beginning to apply it to my own life, and my own 12 step recovery I finally had the ingredients to open a counseling center.

There have been numerous ways that God has provided for us in our efforts of opening the VOTH center. For instance, Chad Molitor and Parker Molitor bought the building that we now occupy at the exact time that I began looking for office space. They both lead their own Voice of the Heart groups and are dedicated to living fully in their own lives as husbands, fathers, and businessmen. They were looking for a tenant and we were looking for a space so the timing was perfect.

You are joining thousands of people who have decided to face their own feelings, desire, longings and hopes when you join our practice. Although this is a new business it stands in a very rich history of helping people live fully, love deeply, and lead well.
