Counseling Groups
Men’s Groups (in Murfreesboro)
Join our Men's Group, where we help men move from loneliness to true connection. In a world where men often feel isolated, this group fosters deep, honest relationships that nourish emotional growth. Every man has likely been part of a group that aimed for connection but fell short when the facilitators or teachers missed that deeper, heart-level bond. In our groups, we provide a space for meaningful discussions and check-ins, guiding you to better understand your feelings and needs. Together, we create a path from isolation to connection, building strength through shared experiences.
Current Men’s Counseling Groups meet on Mondays at 7-8:30am and Tuesdays at 4-6pm

Women’s Intuition Group (In Murfreesboro)
Do you find yourself editing the story you've lived in order to make it "safer?" Do you live less in your gifts + talents because someone told you to? Do you want to trust your inner voice with more certainty? Have you had awareness of what your intuition told you but went against it? We're beginning a new group for women who want to live more fully into who they are meant to be - by becoming closer to their inner knowing, given to them from the beginning. The process is an invitational practice with other women on the same journey to create trust with your inner voice. We'll share stories together in a safe space with other women, and with clinicians to teach and support you. Led by Beth Ann Mergens, LCSW, and Chandler Ross, LMSW, this group offers a safe, educational space for personal growth and discovery.

The Voice of the Heart Center has partnered with The Magnolia Foundation to offer online groups for bereaved parents. We are wired for connection and we gain strength from others who have experiential understanding and empathy of grief. These groups are to offer space for people in this process and to offer a reprieve from the prison of isolation.
The Magnolia Foundation is committed to helping people have access to this process who are open to a process. This pilot group is for people who
Are starting to come out of the shock phase and are starting to experience the pain of firsts.
Are asking questions about life after the event and what their purpose is now.
Needing "en-couragement,” meaning courage poured in from an outside source.
Client Testimonials
“I am so grateful for doing the Parenting with Heart group led by Jenay Kennedy. The biggest gift was realizing that the goal of parenting is not to be perfect…but to be in relationship with my kids. There is freedom in realizing we cannot parent perfectly, and yet we are responsible for our actions (and sometimes we need to say I’m sorry - and that’s ok). Walking through the study with a group of other women helped me feel seen and not alone as a mother, wife and daughter. It truly changed the way I live my life. I am so grateful!”
“The group sessions were exactly what I needed. I was able to share with other men that have similar struggles. Colton and Chandler were great in that they would give us the tools to help us process what we were feeling in a healthy and life giving way. I’ve already signed up for the next group course.”
