Parenting with Heart Women's Group

‘Parenting With Heart’ Women’s Group

Do you want to pave a path for rich and joy-filled relationships with your children? Do you sometimes feel stuck implementing the tools and knowledge you have? Or maybe you feel overwhelmed by your own feelings while parenting? This group is for YOU.

Join Beth Ann Mergens, LCSW & Jenay Kennedy, RN in an eight-week parenting education + support group with an aim to give moms a safe place to explore their gifting and their limitations as a caregiver while being present and allowing for imperfections and vulnerability.

This group is for you if you want to:

-Accept your limitations

-Consider how your childhood impacts your feelings as a parent

-Tune into your feelings and the emotions of your children

-Be present with your family through the good and the bad

Beth Ann Mergens, LCSW is a seasoned therapist with years of working with women to explore their own story as a way of finding connection to their own heart and to God. She is a mother to five children, ages 12-2.

Jenay Kennedy holds a BSN in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. Twenty-seven years of marriage and raising two teenage sons (one of whom has autism) has forced her to confront and grieve her own wounds, to live one day at a time and to learn the incredible value of authentic relationships and self-care. For seventeen years, she has participated in and led educational and support groups centered around the Spiritual Root System.
